To knock is to remember... To open is to reclaim...

Behind every door, there is a story.

After many years of hesitation and self-doubt, I started to knock on the door of my past. For a long time, I carried stories I didn't yet have the language to express - stories of the women who came before me, of strength disguised as silence. In my culture, behind every old door lies memory, heritage and identity. My mission, through my research, was to reclaim the voices that history tried to mute. Knowing where I come from has become the key to finding where I am going. This space is the door to my voice, my art, my empowerment.

Today, I decided to embark on a journey to share my vision with the world. I decided to create a space to mirror the essence of my roots, to showcase my artwork. Through my work, I channel protest, resistance and self-expression into my creations. Each piece tells a story of silenced narratives, womanhood and community, shedding light on issues that are often overlooked or deemed taboo. I want my platform to offer hope for those who have been marginalized or oppressed. I want women to be seen and heard.

Without a doubt, I am also hoping that this platform allows Nana the artist to connect and network with fellow artists, spreading awareness and fighting colonial influences and perceptions. In a world where art has the power to ignite change and provoke thought, my dream is to stand out as a beacon of resilience and courage.

I therefore invite you to delve deep into the complexities of the Arab women's experience, urging you to confront the uncomfortable realities that shape our world.
