This piece speaks to the current silencing of voices calling for justice in Palestine. It is a reference to the forced blindness and enforced silence we are witnessing globally.
Like the three wise monkeys, the woman is a symbol of how truth is being restricted and censored.
The Keffiyeh is a visual language of belonging that cannot be erased. It references the identity, history and resistance of Palestinians. The flowers remind us that even under oppression, our humanity, culture and spirit continue to bloom.

This portrait represents every voice still speaking for Palestine.
Though our mouth is muted, we will not be quiet.
